This "wildly" creative layout really stood out in the Swirlydoos gallery this week. The bold color contrast, fabulous fussy cut photo, masking, chipboard techniques and overall composition are simply amazing. I love everything about this layout! Congrats Niesia on layout of the week!

Hello Swirly Girlies!!

Krissy has some super FANTASTIC core'dinations card stock in the kits lately. What's so special about Core'dinations? It's awesome contrasting color core of course!!
And of course there is no better way to highlight the contrasting color than to emboss and distress!!

Personally I always seem bent on wanting to emboss a 12x12 sheet...which of course you can't. However...in all my genius ;) I have discovered a way to make it LOOK like you have a 12x12 piece of embossed card stock in your LO!! Check out these LO's where I have used the technique:

You can find the full video tutorial here!

Don't forget to become a fan on Facebook for a chance to win the embellishment kit from this month too!!!

Swirlydoos has some very talented members and this week's layout of the week feature is JeannieV. I adore everything about this layout from the beautiful use of circles, stunning photos and the pop of red against the warm wood paper. As the title reads, this is truly exquisite - the lady and the amazing layout to showcase her. Congrats Jeannie!
